British television personality Craig Revel Horwood has been a judge on Strictly Come Dancing since its conception in 2004. A dancer, choreographer and singer, he was born in Ballarat, Australia, on January 4, 1965, and moved to London, where he made a name for himself as a choreographer of musicals on the West End stage. He collaborated with Andrew Lloyd Webber on a new production of Sunset Boulevard in 2008, and with Tim Rice on Chess in 2011. In 2012, following the success of Strictly Come Dancing, he launched the tour of the same name, and went on to work on other musicals such as Annie, Sister Act, Strictly Ballroom: The Musical and The Wizard of Oz. He also took on pantomime roles and completed a solo tour entitled The All Balls and Glitter Tour in 2022. Horwood was also a judge on Dancing with the Stars and Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, among other appearances in series and specials. In 2021, he sang "It's Christmas, Merry Christmas!" with Rietta Austin, then recorded the album Revelations - Songs Boys Don't Sing, released in 2024.
