Her voice is unmistakable. Hailing from Białystok, Sylvia Baudelaire moves at the intersection of rap, hardcore, and experimental electronic music, creating raw art that is emotional and uncompromising. Her work documents experiences that rarely make it into the mainstream: pride in the sexual revolution, the search for gender identity, and the boundaries imposed by society.
She began by recording in English, eventually switching to Polish to ground her stories even more firmly in a personal context. Her projects, from “Seks Ikona” to subsequent releases, build a cohesive yet disturbingly honest world where sensitivity merges with provocation.
Sylvia doesn’t try to fit in. Her music is a space for confrontation with herself and with the listener. Raw sounds, direct lyrics, and emotional intensity make every track feel like a snapshot of a moment that cannot be undone or softened.
