Mr. 2 is a South Korean male music duo composed of Lee Min-gyu and Park Sun-woo. They debuted in 1993 with their iconic jazz ballad/R&B hit "White Winter", featured on their debut album Mr. 2. The song became an enduring winter classic, solidifying the duo's place in Korean music history. Their follow-up track, "I’m Just Me", a lively dance number, also received widespread acclaim. The album included other notable tracks like "Your Story", later popularized through a 1996 cover by Seong Jin-woo. In 1994, they released their second album, which featured "Empty Seats", a top 10 hit, but financial and personal challenges led to their disbandment. Lee Min-gyu pursued a solo career with the successful track "The Handmaiden", while Park Sun-woo transitioned to acting under the stage name Seonwoo. In 1998, they briefly reunited with a new member, Yan (Lee Min-wook), for their third album White Day, but disbanded again shortly thereafter. Reuniting in 2010, Mr. 2 resumed performing their classic hits, including "White Winter", which remains a seasonal favorite. In 2024, they released a single album, "사.이.추 - 사랑은 이별이 되고 이별은 추억을 남기고".
