Kollárovci was a Slovak folk music band formed in 1997. The group consisted of the three Kollár brothers—Tomáš, Štefan, and Marek—along with other musicians, performing Slovak folk music in the Podhale subdialect, which blends Polish and Slovak languages. They debuted in 2006 and gained significant recognition with their album Goraľu cy si ne zaľ in 2013, which was certified both platinum and gold. In 2014, they won first place at the Šlágr TV award. Kollárovci released a music video for "Daj mi lásku, daj" in September 2015, and the song "Anka, Anka", arranged from the folk song "Anka, Anka rád ťa mám", in May 2017. The band also collaborated with the fellow Slovak folk music group Kandráčovci on the song "Chlapci spod Tatier" prior to their nationwide Mega Tour Open Air 2019.
