Burning Point, a Finnish power metal/heavy metal band, was founded in 1999 in Oulu by bassist Jukka Kyrö and guitarist Pete Ahonen. Burning Point released their debut album Salvation by Fire in 2001. In 2016, vocalist Nitte Valo joined the band after collaborating on some of their songs since 2013 and eventually became the full-time singer when Pete Ahonen stepped down as vocalist. The band has released several albums, including Feeding the Flames (2003), Burned Down the Enemy (2006), Empyre (2009), The Ignitor (2012), Burning Point (2015), and Arsonist of the Soul (2021). Notable singles include "To Hell and Back", released in 2004.
