Séptimo Sello was a Spanish pop rock band formed in 1984 in Madrid. Initially, their sound fell within the synth pop underground and minimal synth genres. The group's breakthrough came with "Todos los paletos fuera de Madrid," recorded as a joke but became their biggest hit in 1985. This success led to the release of the mini-album Todos los paletos fuera de Madrid, which included more sophisticated synth-pop tracks like "Espacio vacío." Despite this, their subsequent recordings passed almost unnoticed, and the group disbanded in 1987. In 2011, their early demos and live recordings were compiled on the album Vuelo 747, receiving positive underground acclaim.
