Zuzu Bollin, born A.D. Bollin on September 5, 1922, in Frisco, Texas, was an American Texas blues guitarist and singer. In 1951, Bollin recorded the singles "Why Don't You Eat Where You Slept Last Night" and "Headlight Blues". He worked alongside notable artists such as Duke Robillard, Doug Sahm, Booker Ervin, Percy Mayfield, and David "Fathead" Newman. After being rediscovered by Dallas Blues Society Records founder Chuck Nevitt in 1988, Bollin released his debut full-length album, Texas Bluesman, in 1989 under Dallas Blues Society Records. The record was later sold to Antone's Records. This full-length recording augmented his earlier work of only four sides on two 78rpm records released on the Torch Records label from the early 1950s. Bollin performed at various festivals both domestically and abroad before passing away in Dallas, Texas, in October 1990.
