Lvzbel was a Mexican heavy metal band formed in Mexico City in 1998 by Arturo Huizar following the dissolution of Luzbel. Their debut album, Evangelio nocturno, was released that same year. In 1999, they performed live at the Rockotitlán music festival, releasing two albums from this event: Vivo y desnudo uno and Vivo y desnudo dos. The band composed the soundtrack for the film Guerrero callejero, released as an album titled Pistas musicales (2000). In 2000, they also released Tiempo de la bestia, which saw significant distribution across Mexico, Central America, South America, and the southern United States. Lvzbel also released a tribute album to Judas Priest in 2004, featuring covers of popular songs like "Painkiller" and "Breaking the Law". Arturo Huizar passed away on April 25, 2020, at the age of 62 due to diabetes-related complications.
