Combat 84 were an English Oi! band from Chelsea formed in 1981. The ensemble was founded by John Deptford and vocalist Chris Henderson. They performed their first concert as an opening act for The Last Resort at the Walmer Castle in Peckham. Their recording career includes the debut extended play Orders of the Day (1982), followed by the recording Rapist (1983). Despite receiving positive reviews in the music press, the group faced professional challenges due to the political views of Henderson. Their discography includes the studio album Send in the Marines (1984). The group disbanded in 1984 but returned in 2000 with a lineup consisting of Deptford, Jim Moncur, and CJ. They released the extended play Tooled Up (2000). Henderson died in 2013.
