Ephemera, a Norwegian all-female pop band from Bergen, was formed in 1996 and consisted of Inger Lise Størksen, Christine Sandtorv, and Jannicke Larsen Berglund. The group began their musical journey with the release of their debut album, Glue, in 1996. Ephemera gained significant attention in Germany with their single "Girls Keep Secrets (in the Strangest Ways)", which was awarded Song of the Year at the Bergen International Festival in 2003 and featured in Elle Girl's marketing campaign. The band's unique acoustic guitar-pop sound, characterized by clear harmonies and unconventional instruments like cello and banjo, earned them two Spellemannprisen awards for their albums Balloons And Champagne, released in 2001, and Air, released in 2003. Ephemera continued to release notable works such as "On The Surface" in 2004 and the album Monolove later that year.
