Allgäu Power

Allgäu Power, a party band from southern Germany, was founded in 1997. The group's lead singer from 2007 to 2014, Thomas Wohlfahrt, was previously known for his second-place finish in the 2003 Sat.1 casting show Star Search.  Notable singles include "Oschaua derfma oba ofassn net" (2003), which was the title for the German preliminary round of the Grand Prix der Volksmusik, and "Wie ein Licht in dunkler Nacht" (2004), with proceeds going to Humedica. Allgäu Power released several albums including Wir machen Musik für euch (2007) and Küss mit mir die Sterne (2008). The band gained prominence in 2008 through their appearance on the RTL show Das Supertalent with the song "Bauer sucht Frau".
