Shameless, a German rock band originating from Munich, was formed in April 1989 by bassist Alexx "Skunk" Michael. The group initially gained local popularity but disbanded in 1991 after their singer left. In 1998, Michael reunited with drummer Eric Singer to reform Shameless and release their debut album Backstreet Anthems, featuring collaborations with notable musicians such as Steve Summers, Stevie Rachelle, and Gilby Clarke. The album included covers of "Flaming Youth" by Kiss and "Hard Dayz Night" by the Beatles. Following this success, Michael and BC released Queen 4 a Day in 2000, produced at Keri Kelli's studio in California with contributions from Gene Simmons, Jaime St. James, and Tommy Thayer. The band continued with Splashed in 2002 and Famous 4 Madness in 2007, the latter featuring performances by Phil Lewis, Jani Lane, and John Corabi. Shameless also released a live album titled Super Hardcore Show.
