Kerigma is a Mexican rock band from Mexico City, formed in 1983 by Ernesto Canales and Sergio Silva. The group initially included Rodolfo Yáñez on guitar, Tony Méndez on bass, Juan Carlos Novelo on drums, and Gilberto Fabila on keyboards. Kerigma released their debut album, Siguiendo la Línea, in 1986 under Polygram Records, featuring hits like "Nena" and "Mi Espera". Their second album, Esquizofrenia (1994), produced by Memo Méndez Guiu, included the popular track "Tres Lunares", which propelled them to national fame. The band's third album, Morir imaginando, was released in 1995 under Warner Music and featured the notable song "No me hace bien". After a period of hiatus, Kerigma reunited in 2008 to record new material for the film soundtrack of Amar. Their album, Viajeros (2019), marked their return to the music scene with a memorable concert at El Cantoral.
