Lee Press-On and the Nails is a swing band from San Francisco, formed in October 1994 during the swing revival. The group achieved a breakthrough with their first album, Jump-Swing from Hell: Live at the Hi-Ball Lounge, released in 1998. Their discography includes Swing Is Dead (1999), Playing Dirty: LPN Live at the Derby (2000), and El Bando En Fuego! (2002). In 1998, the band won a California Music Award for Best Swing/Cabaret Act and an SF Weekly Award for Best Swing Band. Frontman Lee Press-On moved to Hollywood in 2004 to play keyboards for the Oingo Boingo tribute band Dead Man's Party. Following a reunion show in 2006, the band played their final live show on October 25, 2024.
