Tony Olabode, known professionally as Blak Twang, was born on June 28, 1972, in England. He grew up in Deptford, Lewisham, South-East London and is recognized for his contributions to rap music. His debut single, "What Goin' On", was released in 1995. In 2002, he achieved notable success with the album Kik Off, which included the singles "Kik Off", "So Rotton" and "Trixsta" featuring Estelle. His subsequent albums include The Rotton Club (2005) and Speaking From Experience (2008). He has been nominated for several awards, including a MOBO and a Kora.
