The Starlings, a Belgian pop duo consisting of Tom Dice and Kato Callebaut, formed in 2018. The group released their first single "Mine" in 2019. In 2020, they participated in the sixth season of Liefde voor muziek and released their debut album Don't Look Back, which reached number 2 on the Flemish chart and sold 10,000 copies, earning a gold record. The duo's second album, Seaside, was released in 2022 and peaked at number 5 in the Flemish charts. In November 2022, they were announced as participants in Eurosong 2023, performing "Rollercoaster" and finishing second with 277 points.
