OG Raijk and Polo65 form the MC duo 65Goonz. Founded in 2019 in the Berlin district of Wedding, the two rappers are at the forefront of a new wave of hip-hop acts that operate in the field of tension between samples, dark trap beats and hedonistic lifestyle lyrics. After OG Raijk and Polo65 had already attracted attention in 2019 with singles such as "Atze" and "Wedding Boyz ", they made friends with Swiss producer Endzone, who was also drawn to the German capital, almost at the same time. 65Goonz' first mixtape Your Local Finesser (2020) was followed in 2021 by their debut full-length Cash Me If You Can, which reached number 21 in the German album charts. The studio works Good Rich and Trappin' Before Rappin' followed in the same year, with the two rappers also demonstrating their qualities as individual artists, as the Polo65 track "Allrounder" and OG Raijk's single "Alles was ich weiss" (also both 2021) impressively show.
