Madalena Alberto, born in Lisbon, Portugal, is a singer and actress who has developed her career primarily in London's West End. Her professional debut was in Aladdin at the Old Vic, London, with Sir Ian McKellen in 2005. Alberto released her first solo album, Foreign Sketches - Live Studio Recording, in March 2011 and followed it with the EP Heart Condition on September 5, 2012. She has performed in various musicals, including Evita, where she played Eva Perón in the West End production, and Cats where she played Grizabella. Alberto also starred as Fantine in the 25th Anniversary production of Les Misérables. She has collaborated with notable artists such as Marti Pellow and Ricardo Afonso.
