Demoniciduth is a Swiss Christian extreme metal band formed in October 1998. Originally named Satanicide and then Demonicide, the group was founded by bassist and vocalist Taanak and his brother, drummer Annihilith. The band's name signifies “demon killer,” inspired by the biblical passage Mark 16:17–18. After releasing the EP Post Tenebras Lux (2001), the group entered a hiatus in 2002, though they performed at Elements of Rock in 2004. Following their 2010 reunion, the band issued the EP The Valley of Decision in 2012. In 2016, the group signed with Vision of God Records, which released their debut studio album, Enemy of Satan, in July 2017. The band's sound blends death metal, thrash metal, and unblack metal, often featuring an advisory sticker reading “Satanist Advisory: Christian Lyrics”.
