Selby Tigers was an American punk band formed in 1998 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The group included guitarist Arzu "D2" Gokcen, her husband Nathan Grumdahl on guitar, bass player Nicole Gerber, and drummer Dave Gatchell. Their name referenced Selby Avenue and the Tamil Tigers. After their debut EP in 1998, Gerber was replaced by Dave Gardner. This EP, along with South Then West (1999), attracted Hopeless Records, who signed them in 2000. Their first album with the label, Charm City (2000), featured the single "Sidewalk". Selby Tigers toured extensively and released their final album, The Curse of the Selby Tigers, in 2002 before disbanding in 2003.
