Juckreiz, a German band from Magdeburg, formed in 1980. They gained early recognition at the Schlager festival "Goldener Rathausmann" in Dresden in 1983, where they placed second. Their debut album, Kleeblatt № 11 - Junge Rockbands, was released as a split album in 1984. The band's socially critical songs led to the near-loss of their performance license. In 1985, member Marion Sprawe left for Smokings Rockshow. Juckreiz toured the Soviet Union in 1988 and later collaborated with artists like Peter Schilling and Joachim Witt at Neue Deutsche Welle parties starting in 1993. Their compilation album Zeck-Zoff Trouble en masse was released in 2007.
