Born in London to Pakistani/Irish parents Niomí writes delicately crafted love songs interwoven with textural piano and tender vocals. In 2021, Niomí shared her debut EPs Susurrus and Pain Relief two collections of songs reflecting on heartbreak, mental health, loss, and finding a light at the end of the tunnel. She received beautiful support from websites like COLORS, Rolling Stone India, DLSO, WORDPLAY Magazine, and more, but also from playlists by Spotify UK/IE, Pakistan, H&M or Mahogany. Having recently gained support from the Help Musicians x Mobo Awards Fund she will follow on from last year's 'Bang Bang' cover with a new single 'Somehow' in Oct 2023.
Niomí also runs Sahāya, an initiative to uplift and empower female musicians and artists of color.
