Shao Hao is a London-based artist blending the emotional storytelling of Brit-pop with the sharp hooks and energy of K-pop. Known for his soaring vocals and heartfelt lyricism, he creates music that bridges East and West — exploring identity, belonging, and resilience.
Born in China and moving to the UK at 17, Shao turned his journey into art, writing songs that have topped charts across Asia for stars like Stefanie Sun, Angela Zhang, and Power Station, and featured in Netflix and TBS series including The Victim’s Game and Kamitsubaki City Under Construction. A former Roundhouse resident artist, he has performed alongside Imogen Heap and Jamie Cullum, and was nominated for Best Original Song at Taiwan’s Golden Bell Awards.
Now stepping into the spotlight with his own artist project, Shao Hao connects with Gen Z audiences through his UK school tour and TikTok, inspiring young people to embrace who they are. His upcoming releases — created with the hitmakers behind BTS, Sam Ryder, and Rudimental — mark a bold new chapter for one of the most distinctive new voices in global pop.
