Singer Antonino Colombo, known professionally as Tony Colombo, was born in Palermo, Sicily, on May 11, 1986. Noticed by Neapolitan singer Mario Merola, who gave him the nickname Tony, he recorded his first album A' Villegiante at the age of seven. Released in 1994 on the GS Record label, the album sold 23,000 copies and included a European tour. Tony Colombo's fame quickly spread, with appearances on various TV shows and concerts in Italy and Belgium. In 1995, he took part in the Assago Forum in Milan, along with other representatives of the new Italian song scene, dubbed "neomelodic". After a second album, Scugnizza (1995), which was also very well received by the public, the singer made a name for himself with the following albums, released on the Seamusica label: Complimenti! (1998), Spregiudicata and Classicamente io (1999), Un dopo l'altro (2000) and Io più te (2001), for which he was awarded the Revelation of the Year prize by Leoluca Orlando, the mayor of Palermo. Tony Colombo went on to record Il giorno e la notte (2003) and took part in the San Marino Festival, where he reached the semi-finals. In 2009, he made his acting debut in Un camorrista perbene, and the following year, Tony Colombo took part in the Sanremo Festival in the "new generation" category, but was not selected. He continued his musical career with the concert DVD Il cuore in un concerto (2008) and the albums Si accettano scommesse (Sott'e stelle) (2009), Il principe e il povero (2011), 6 x me (2012), Solo (2013) and È guerra aperta (2014), his latest album for Seamusica. In 2015, Quello che vorrei was released by Don't Worry Records, while the following Sicuro was released by Zeus Record, his new label, followed by Il D'Angelo che c'è in me (2018), Le Canzoni Più Romantiche (2020) and L'Ultimo (2022). In 2020, after his marriage to Tina Rispoli, Tony Colombo puts an end to his musical career.
