Richard William "Rick" Wright (* July 28, 1943 in Hatch End, London Borough of Harrow; † September 15, 2008 in Kensington, London) was a musician and composer. He achieved great fame during his time as keyboard player for the rock band Pink Floyd. Rick Wright left the band, not entirely voluntarily, after recording the Pink Floyd album The Wall in 1979. Nevertheless, he reappeared in 1987 as a guest musician on A Momentary Lapse of Reason. He returned to the band in 1992 and significantly influenced the band's style on 1994's The Division Bell, after which the musician devoted himself more to his solo career. The result of his work is the album Broken China. This is already Rick Wright's second solo album. The artist released his debut back in 1978. Wet Dream will be released again in 2023. The reason for this is the 80th birthday of the musician, who died in 2008.
