Pecos is a Spanish pop duo formed in Madrid by brothers Francisco Javier Herrero Pozo and Pedro José Herrero Pozo. In 1978, the group released its debut single, “Esperanzas”, which reached Number 1 for four consecutive weeks. That same year, the duo released the studio album Concierto para adolescentes, which sold over 300,000 copies and included the track “Acordes”. Subsequent recordings included Un par de corazones (1979), featuring the song “Háblame de ti”, and Siempre Pecos (1980). After an interruption for military service in 1981, the band released Por arte de magia in 1984 and became inactive in 1986. The brothers reunited in 1993 for the album Pensando en ti. Following the releases of El poder de tus ojos (1999) and Un manantial de ternura (2005), the group became inactive again in 2012. In December 2024, the duo announced the 2025 tour Dos voces y una historia. The group has sold over four million copies of its studio albums and compilations.
