Aleighcia Scott is the soulful voice of UK reggae’s new wave.
Cardiff-born with Jamaican roots, she's known for her soulful reggae style and powerful live performances. Named one of The Guardian’s breakout Welsh artists for 2025 and featured in BBC’s Ones to Watch, Aleighcia has toured with Lila Iké, Julian Marley and The Skints, and performed at SXSW, Glastonbury, Boomtown, and Jamaica’s Dub Club.
Her debut album Windrush Baby topped the iTunes Reggae chart and earned major award nods. She made history with Dod o’r Galon, the first Welsh-language reggae song to hit #1 on the iTunes Reggae chart.
Offstage, she’s a prominent radio and TV voice, hosting a weekly show on BBC Radio Wales, covering for the legendary David Rodigan’s BBC 1xtra Reggae Show and she is the current winning coach on Y Llais 2025 (The Voice Wales).
