Stephen Jerome Williams, known as Stezo, and born on March 10, 1968 in New Haven, Connecticut, was a rapper and producer. He started his career as a dancer for EPMD and appeared in the video for their single "You Gots to Chill" from Strictly Business (1988). Stezo then signed with Sleeping Bag Records in 1989 and released his debut single "To the Max". His first album, Crazy Noise (1989), charted at number 37 on the Billboard R&B albums chart. After a hiatus, he returned in 1994 with the single "Bop Ya Headz" and released "Where's the Funk At" in 1996. Stezo passed away on April 29, 2020.
