Gazorpazorp are a post-punk/noise rock four-piece from Belgrade, part of the new wave of young alternative bands taking the torch from the region’s older generation of guitar acts. Active since late 2016, they are known for their intense live shows and sharp songwriting.
Blending Yugoslav and Anglo-Saxon rock traditions, Gazorpazorp’s sound draws comparisons to forward-thinking contemporaries like Squid, Black Midi, Oh Sees, Show Me The Body and Tropical Fuck Storm. Their music fuses the force of noise rock, the precision of math rock, post-punk playfulness and psychedelic experimentation — all wrapped in melodic, witty, Serbian-language lyrics.
Their "EP Od vazduha i sunca" (Moonlee Records, 2020) delivered five tracks full of youthful energy and restless spirit. In early 2025, Gazorpazorp released their first full-length album "Niz reku", a joint release by Moonlee Records and Pop Depression. Across eight songs, the album explores themes of liberation, family, loss and resilience, with powerful guitars, multi-voiced vocals and driving rhythms.
Gazorpazorp are Jasmin Rastić, Miloš Đerković, Vukašin Petrović and Nikola Bajčetić. The band are also co-founders of the HalI Gali collective, appearing on its cult compilations with the tracks "Moja devojka" and "Proleće".
