Natural Magic is an American electronic music duo from Portland, Oregon. Formed in the early 2010s by Michael McKinnon (synthesizers, programming, drums) and Matthew Quiet (sound effects, bass), the duo made a name for themselves on the local underground scene through the parties they organized under the title Limited Edition, spreading their experimental music blending immersive electronic sounds, influenced by ambient, krautrock and dub, worked out on the basis of improvisation during nocturnal sessions. After a self-titled debut album released in 2015 on cassette under the Boomarm Nation label, Natural Magic, the duo produced two DJ mix albums, I Believe It's Magic (2016) and HNYPOT 345: Natural Magic's a Touch of Homey Mix (2019), for the HNYPOT series. In 2026, their second album II was released by Keith McIvor's Scottish label Optimo Music, relayed by Kompakt Distribution, and reached number 55 in the UK download charts.
