Sergio y Estíbaliz, a Spanish husband-and-wife singer duo consisting of Sergio Blanco Rivas and Estíbaliz Uranga, began their musical journey in 1967 when they joined the group Voces y Guitarras. The duo left the group in December 1972 to pursue a solo career, releasing their self-titled debut album in 1973 under Juan Carlos Calderón's production. Their breakthrough came with "Tú volverás", which represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 1975 and reached the tenth position. The duo released several albums, including Piel (1974), Canciones Sudamericanas (1977), and Cuidado con la noche (1985). In 1984, they participated in a concert celebrating Mocedades' 15th anniversary. Their final album was Planeta Tierra (1992). Rivas died on February 15, 2015.
