Bryan Tapia-Ortiz , Well Known by stage name ‘Young Tapz ’ is an American rapper of Mexican descent best recognised for the single ‘Hellcat’ Ft Lucky3rd (2018). growing up around loving music and finally getting into making his own just a few years ago. Growing Up With a Family Of 5 in a 2 bedroom Trailer Home, going to school and trying to figure out his taste in music. Tapia-Ortiz found interest in music from his older brother whom listened and was inspired by the likes of Tupac, And
Chicano Rap. Tapia-Ortiz resolved to build a career in the music industry. Over his 3 year span of making and creating his own music, He has made and put out several albums and mixtapes, Including ‘From the streets to the top,’ ‘The Old Me,’ ‘Street Smart,’ ‘Mtb The Mob’ Apart from his music endeavors, the rapper has his own clothing line, and record label, ‘MTB,’ and intends to look for talent and sign artist when the time is right. He also promotes the ‘MTB Records’ movement for the empowerment of latino artist, staying positive and creating a great sound for people in the same position just trying to chase a dream.
Childhood & Early Life
Bryan, was born on June 23, 1999, (Cancer) in Wilmington Delaware, United States. His parents had Mexican ancestry. He was raised along with his elder brother and younger sister by his hard working mother and father.
He considered his brother as his role model and grew up around him learning how to survive in the streets. In his early years he grew up listening to rap influenced by his older brother introducing him to music at a very early age. He was guided by his brother to pay attention in school to make his parents proud and graduated high school in 2018 right before pursuing his musical career.
CAREER
He developed an ear for Hip Hop music after he started listening to artists like Chief Keef, Gunna, Lil Baby, Dr. Dre and Eazy-E and orther acts from a younger age and growing up. He was so inspired by the lyrics and compositions of these artists that he started penning down his own lyrics when he was just fifteen years of age. He also took inspiration from the Mexican folk ballads called ‘corridos’ music.
Although never contemplating on making music My full time career, i would find myself writing music as a kid. At the age of 13 listening to mexican regional music and creating my own covers and posting them on facebook. As I got more into creating my own sound i started by recording about my struggles and things i was going through as a kid growing up.
On September 23, 2018 I released my first ever
on my own youtube page called Blood And Tears Gaining over 25k being my first youtube video released under my own platform.
On August 23, 2019 I released my first studio album ‘From The Streets To The Top,’ With 8 Songs & visualizers and features including Squidnice, Bobby Nice, and Lucky3rd.
Moving forward, i have released over 3 full albums and singles including Hellcat, reaching over 1 million views in a span of 2 years and reaching great artist platforms including ‘Worldstar Hip-Hop’ and many other platforms as well as growing my own record label ‘MTB Records’ Alongside my brother Tapz Money.
PERSONAL LIFE
His Brother Tapz Money, Who as well has become a well known figure to the public eye has teamed up with myself and other artist to work and make music.
I also have my mother, father and a little sister.
