Emilie Esther, born Emilie Holmgaard on May 12, 1999, in Aalborg, Denmark, is a singer who gained prominence through her participation in X Factor. She competed in the age 15–22 category with Remee as her mentor. Following her victory in the eighth season of the Danish series of X Factor in 2015, she was signed to Sony Music and released her debut single "Undiscovered" (2015), which topped the Danish Singles Chart. The song was written and composed by Karen Poole and Remee. Her second single, "Inescapable", produced by RedOne and TinyIsland, was also released in 2015.
