Lucy May Walker is a folk-pop Singer/Songwriter from Worcestershire, now living in London. Her debut EP, Heartbreak Songs, reached No. 3 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart, receiving numerous plays on BBC Introducing across the Midlands.
The title track was played on Jeremy Vine's BBC Radio 2 show after he spotted her busking in London. She was then invited to play two original songs live on the show in 2018 - Vine described Lucy as “just brilliant” on the show which was listened to by more than 7 million people. The following year she went on to perform on his Channel 5 TV talk show.
In 2020, Lucy May performed the title track from her EP 'Bad Day' on BBC Radio 5 Live for Jamie Cullum & DJ Scott Mills - who described Lucy as ' so good '.
Lucy May has sold out headline shows across the UK and has supported the likes of Tom Speight, Lucy Spraggan and Wet Wet Wet. Lucy has very impressive streaming numbers with over half a million streams on her single 'Safety Net' alone.
