Nantucket, an American rock band formed in Jacksonville, North Carolina in 1969, initially performed as a cover band named Stax of Gold. The original lineup included Larry Uzzell, Mike Uzzell, Tommy Redd, Eddie Blair, Kenny Soule, and Mark Downing. In 1972, the band changed its name to Nantucket Sleighride, later shortened to Nantucket. They signed with Epic Records in 1977 and released their self-titled debut album, which sold approximately 200,000 copies and featured the single "Heartbreaker" that reached number 62 on the Billboard Hot 100. The band toured extensively with notable acts such as Aerosmith and Journey. In 1983, Nantucket signed with RCA Records and released No Direction Home. After disbanding in 1990, the original members reunited in 1993 to record a live album titled Still Live after All These Years.
