Trik Turner is an American rap rock band formed in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1999. The group's breakthrough came with the single "Friends and Family" (2001), which reached number 10 on the Billboard Modern Rock chart and received extensive airplay on MTV, VH1, and adult contemporary television and radio formats in 2002. They were the first band to have two different videos aired on MTV for the same song. Their album Trik Turner was released in 2002. Following internal differences, some members parted ways, leading to their departure from RCA Records. The band continued touring and released an album, Naming the Unidentified, via their website in 2005.
