Dødheimsgard is a Norwegian metal band formed in 1994 in Norway. The group was founded by Björn Dencker and Yusaf Parvez as a black metal ensemble. Their debut album, Kronet til konge (1995), featured Gylve Nagell on bass. Their musical style evolved with the recording 666 International (1999), which incorporated industrial metal and avant-garde elements. After a period of inactivity, the group returned with the album Supervillain Outcast (2007). Subsequent recordings include the albums A Umbra Omega (2015) and Black Medium Current (2023). Parvez, who identifies as a Satanist, serves as the primary songwriter and utilizes lyrical themes intended to challenge the perceptions of the listener.
