Hexedene was a British musical group formed in 1997, comprising vocalist Katie Helsby and guitarists Ian Palmer and Jonathan Sharp. The band originated as a side project of composer Jonathan Sharp's main band, New Mind. After recording sessions for their debut album Choking on Lilies, which was released in 1997 by Matrix Cube, Helsby and Palmer left to focus on their new project, Streem. In 2001, Hexedene released their second and final studio album, Bullet Proof Divas. During this period, Jonathan Sharp collaborated with Daemon Cadman of Waiting for God to record "Diamonds Are Forever" for the compilation Nod's Tacklebox o' Fun.
