Ken Navarro, born on June 9, 1953, in Lafayette, Indiana, is an American contemporary jazz guitarist. He began his career as a studio musician in Los Angeles, recording with Dave Koz, Nell Carter, and Doc Severinsen. In 1990, he released his debut album, The River Flows, on his own label, and his second album earned a Grammy nomination. Over the following decades, he issued 28 albums, including Island Life (2000) and Unbreakable Heart (2015), featuring collaborators such as Dave Weckl, John Patitucci, Chad Wackerman, Brandon Fields, and Eric Marienthal. Navarro produced records for saxophonist Eric Darius, Tony Craddock Jr., and pianist Jay Rowe. He also released singles, such as "You Are Everything" (2005), "Ruby Lane" (2014), "Juliet" (2015), and "When We Dance" (2020), all of which appeared on the Billboard smooth jazz chart.
