Orsa Spelmän, a Swedish folk music sextet from Orsa, was formed in 1987. The group's breakthrough came with their collaboration with Benny Andersson of ABBA on the album Klinga mina klockor. In 1988, they released their self-titled debut album, Orsa Spelmän, followed by Fiolen Min in 1990. The band continued to release albums, including Ödra in 1998 and Orsa nästa in 2006. In 2001, Orsa Spelmän joined Benny Andersson's Orkester (BAO). Member Kalle Moraeus received the Povel Ramels Karamelodiktstipendium award in 2006. The group has also appeared on several records with Benny Andersson's Orkester.
