Hans Anders Widmark (born November 25, 1963) was a Swedish jazz pianist and composer from Uppsala. Widmark began playing the piano at age seven and graduated from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm in 1986. In 1990, he began fusing jazz with hip-hop and acid jazz and released the debut album Sylvesters sista resa. Widmark worked with jazz musicians including Bob Brookmeyer, Eddie Harris, and Nils Landgren. He also accompanied vocalists such as Helen Sjöholm and Sara Isaksson. In 2001, he received a stipend from the Swedish Society of Songwriters, Composers and Authors. Widmark and Sjöholm received a Grammis in 2003 for the album Genom varje andetag. He received the Jan Johansson-Stipendium in 2005 and a second Grammis in 2016 for the album Resonanser. Widmark died in Uppsala on November 26, 2024.
