An electro-pop duo with house influences, Cassandre was born in Saint-Étienne in the early 2010s. Made up of singers and keyboardists Pier and Flo, the duo made a name for themselves through the X Factor TV show, and produced a debut album released in January 2014, Et Sonnera l'Heure. Using crowdfunding, Cassandre followed up with a series of singles with remixes, including "Respire" (2018), "Burning Dancefloor" (2020), "L'Arc-en-ciel" (2021), "Carpe Diem" (2021) and "Vivre dans l'exil" (2021). In 2022, the singles "Ma liberté", "Tombés du même ciel" and "Marilyne" were released in the same vein , followed by others such as "Le Vague à l'âme" and "N'attends pas", followed by "Nous" and "Un goût de seum" in 2023, and "Infini " in 2024, before the January 2026 release of the album Tombés du Même Ciel.
