Josephine Collective, an American emo pop band from Johnson County, Kansas, was formed in 2004. Initially known as Josephine and Josephine Love Letter, they changed their name to Josephine Collective in 2006. John Feldmann of Goldfinger discovered them on Myspace and invited them to open for his band, leading to a record deal with Warner Bros. Records. Their debut EP Living was released in July 2007, followed by their first full-length album We Are the Air in June 2008. The band toured extensively, supporting The Used and performing at both the Bamboozle Left Festival and the Bamboozle Festival in 2008. In mid-2008, several members left the band, including keyboardist Lili Redwine, bassist Colby Logback, and drummer Jared Bond. Josephine Collective played their last concert on May 23, 2009, and reunited for a final show on January 23, 2010, before disbanding.
