The Rising Rocket, originally formed as Pocket Rocket in 2004, is a band created by Benni, Simon, Manu, and Philip. The group initially gained traction with their debut CD Where Can We Go? released in 2006. They were finalists at the Emergenza Festival that year and featured in a US television reportage titled Project My World. In 2008, due to a legal dispute with an Austrian band, they rebranded as The Rising Rocket. Their breakthrough came in 2009 when they supported acts like Razorlight and Silbermond, performing at notable festivals such as Rock am Ring and Hurricane. Collaborating with producer Ronald Bood, the band recorded their debut album Colours of Stockholm, released in 2011 on Headspin-Rec. In 2012, following the departure of bassist Andy Ehret, The Rising Rocket continued as a trio.
