Polyrhythm Addicts is a hip hop group originating from New York City, formed in 1998 as a collaborative project set up by Nervous Records. The initial lineup included DJ Spinna, Mr Complex, Shabaam Sahdeeq, and Apani B. Their breakthrough came with the single "Not Your Ordinary", which led to their debut album Rhyme Related, released in 1999. The album was well-received, noted as an AllMusic pick for its consistent quality. Following this release, the group disbanded to pursue individual careers. In 2007, Polyrhythm Addicts reunited and released their second album Break Glass... on Babygrande Records. Both albums featured a guest appearance from Pharoahe Monch.
