No Knife is an experimental rock band from San Diego, California. The original lineup included Mitch Wilson on vocals and guitar, Brian Desjean on bass, Aaron Mancini on guitar, and Ike Zaremba on drums and vocals. Their early influences were diverse, encompassing acts like Pixies and the Cure. No Knife released their debut album Drunk On The Moon in 1995, followed by ...Hit Man Dreams... in 1997. The band later released two more full-lengths, Fire In The City Of Automatons (1999) and Riot For Romance! (2002). No Knife won the San Diego Music Award for Best Punk Rock Band and were cited as an influence by Thrice. The band reunited briefly to play shows in 2014, 2015, 2019, and 2024.
