Kidz in the Hall, an American hip hop duo comprising Michael Aguilar and Jabari Evans, was formed in Chicago, Illinois. The group originated from a talent show at the University of Pennsylvania, where they met in 2000. Their debut album, School Was My Hustle, was released in 2006 via Rawkus Records. In early 2007, Kidz in the Hall created "Work to Do It" to support Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama. Later that year, they signed with Duck Down Records and released The in Crowd in 2008, featuring the lead single "Drivin' Down the Block". The duo continued with critically acclaimed albums such as Land of Make Believe (2010), which included collaborations with MC Lyte and Just Blaze. Their discography includes notable releases like Occasion (2011) and Free Nights & Weekends (2017).
