Salt, a Swedish alternative grunge band formed in 1992, consisted of Nino Ramsby on guitar and vocals, Daniel Ewerman on bass, and Jim Tegman on drums. Ewerman and Tegman met while they were studying at the Stockholm School of Art. Their album, Auscultate (1995), reached number 33 on the U.S. Billboard Heatseekers chart, while its lead single, "Bluster", hit number 21 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart. In 1997, they released a collection of B-sides and unreleased material called Delay Me Down and Make Me Wah Wah!! on Meltdown records. Salt's career was relatively short-lived, as they had not released any material since 1997.
