Mikołaj

Mikołaj z Radomia, born in 1400 in Poland, was a Polish composer known for his polyphonic music. He was connected with the court of Władysław Jagiełło and is recognized for his compositions that express religious contemplation. His works are signed with variations of his name, including "N. de Radom" and "Mycolay Radomsky." His compositions are preserved in two Polish collections of polyphonic music from the second quarter of the 15th century, found in manuscripts such as those in the Świdziński Library and the Załuski Library. Notable recordings include Complete Works by Ars Nova Ensemble, released on DUX Records in 1995.
