Boris Vian is a multi instrumentalist, beatmaker, songwriter and performer based in Quito, Ecuador. He's music has been described as “a collage of sounds that carefully articulate a new message”. The project is named after the acclaimed french writer, engineer, poet, journalist, and musician: Boris Vian.
The eponym opens a new dimension where performance and music collide, creating a fresh, new character; by leaving the author and the expectations that he entails aside, the alter ego is allowed to take control of the creative wheel.
The project emerged through social media with Cayendo Cayendo, his first single, on April 2017. Currently Boris Vian has released 5 music videos including Disco, a song that rapidly captured local media's attention and recognition from all over the globe.
